Best Rose Creams? via Beaut.ie - The Irish Beauty Blog, Jan 22nd, 2008 at 14:30

image Yiz were all chatting the other day about moisturisers containing rose oil or extracts. MelSea told us, “I’m from Melbourne and just back from a trip home, the big thing there is organic rosehip oil. I’ve been eating Tim Tams for Ireland since I got home and no signs of a spot, all I do is put it on straight after the shower while skin is still damp. Moisturiser goes on top if you want“. While she can’t buy the brand she got at home, Kosmea, in Ireland, she’s recommending Trilogy - a New Zealand brand we’ve blogged about a time or two - and Aubrey Organics. They “do a really nice range of Rosa Mosqueta products including oil which are often discounted on www.vitacost.com, they have moisturisers etc and a friend of mine highly recommends... Cold weather skin savers: Trilogy Aromatic Body Oil via Beaut.ie - The Irish Beauty Blog, Dec 9th, 2009 at 14:30

image I must admit I’d never been a big fan of body oils until I started using Trilogy’s Aromatic Body Oil. I found the texture of lotions and creams easier to work with and wasn’t fond of the way a lot of oils I had tried just seemed to sit on the surface of my skin, without absorbing in. Once I’d started using a few of Trilogy’s facial skincare products, however, I was interested in trying more from the range and decided to give the Aromatic Body Oil a go. A blend of 7 pure plant oils, the ingredient list on this bottle (as with most Trilogy products) is refreshingly simple. Rice Bran, Sweet Almond, Evening Primrose, Calendula and Avocado oils blend with Vitamin E and Trilogy’s star ingredient, Rosehip oil, to form a refreshingly light but soothing body... Similar posts

Mmm Hmmm: Trilogy Rosehip Oil via Beaut.ie - The Irish Beauty Blog, Sep 8th, 2009 at 15:30

image I’ve been DYING to write about this for a while but as Trilogy were in the middle of seeking wider distribution in Ireland (previously the brand was only available in selected health-food and natural stores), I reluctantly put it on the long finger. Distribution has just come on stream with the Unicare pharmacy chain, so I thought I’d give you a teaser of their Rosehip Oil now that lots and lots of you are able to easily get your paws on a bottle. It’s not a new product to Beaut.ie and I know some of you love it already: this is a cult buy that’s worth the cash. Nourishing, organic, hydrating and skin-soothing, it’s a treat dry and sensitive skins will adore. Sebum-prone types can use too, because oils are great for balancing skin. I’m on my third... Trilogy Rosehip Cleansing Cream - a Great Substitute for Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish via Beaut.ie - The Irish Beauty Blog, Apr 2nd, 2007 at 14:24

image After the surprise win of Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanse and Polish in our recent Stars of 2006 poll, lots of you expressed amazement that a product that’s so hard to get would prove so popular. But it’s ace, and that’s why! I use it myself, and it’s a big part of my night time routine - it’s a lovely product that keeps skin calm and happy during the cleansing process, and doesn’t cause any tightness. Liz Earle products are made from natural ingredients too, which I appreciate. But yes, the big drawback is the lack of availability. So are there any other products out there that are similar? I recently tried out Trilogy Rosehip Cleansing Cream and initially wasn’t too wowed by it, basically because I’m not really a big cream cleanser fan. But I... Similar posts

Stocking Fillers for Men - Skincare, Shaving & Personal Grooming Treats via Beaut.ie - The Irish Beauty Blog, Dec 12th, 2006 at 19:56

image Christmas is a great time to buy the man in yer life a few little skincare and shaving treats that he probably wouldn’t buy himself. We’ve thought about this long and hard, and our suggestions are as follows: Knights of The Green (Dundrum & Stephens Green, Dublin) have a range of American Crew sets for men - in particular the Peppermint Cleanse Shampoo & Pomade set for €12 would make a really nice stocking filler. What about a voucher for a hot towel shave? Men who’ve had them rave about them and for the man who won’t get a facial (lets face it, most of them), this is a manly way to get a bit of pampering. In Dublin, Knights of the Green can oblige you with a voucher for one, as can the Waldorf Barbershop in Westmoreland... Similar posts
